The younger group, 5 to 8 year olds, start in our Tiger Program...Belts are a solid colour with a distinguishing white or black stripe in the middle of the belt. This signifies either a Beginner or Advanced student of that particular rank. Students are awarded 8 Tips on their belt before they are eligible to be tested for their next rank.

As your child gets older and progresses through they belts they will test into the next age group, they will NOT have to start over!

Pre teens, 9 to 12 year olds, start in our Dragon Program. Belts are a solid colour. Students are awarded 8 Tips on their belt before they are eligible to be tested for their next rank.

Cadets, 13 to 16 year olds, start in the Cadet Program... Belts are a solid colour. Students are awarded 8 Tips on their belt before they are eligible to be tested for their next rank.

Adults start with solid coloured belts and are awarded a single Tip on each side of their belt to signify that they have reached the half way point of their prescribed material.  Upon successful completion of a test of ALL material candidates will be advanced to the next rank.
